How are you keeping active?
Exercise has many benefits: it helps to regulate mood, reduces stress, improves mental health, improves cardiovascular health, builds muscles, helps with relaxation, sleep quality and more. Some of the activities that I have engaged in these past few months include: weight training, walking, jogging, playing in the ocean, swimming, gardening, bike riding, family football and softball. What about you? "Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful part of us."
David Richo "Resistance creates suffering. Stress happens when your mind resists what is ... The only problem in your life is your mind's resistance to life as it unfolds."
Dan Millman "To change ourselves effectively, we first had to change our perceptions."
Stephen R. Covey "The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new lands but in seeing with new eyes."
Marcel Proust "I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear."
Nelson Mandela "Never let the fear of striking out get in your way."
Babe Ruth "Destroy negative thoughts when they first appear. This is when they're the weakest."
